In most long-stay categories the cost of entry clearance and related costs is not a major factor in the decision to choose to come to the UK. While we realise that any extra cost is unwelcome, it represents a very small part of the overall costs of relocating. A recent survey carried out on visa applicants being screened at our testing facilities showed that 91% believe that the UK should test migrants for TB.
